Visions of a New America A new year is upon us and as citizens of diverse communities that comprise the new America, we are obligated to embrace a spirit of social responsibility in order to offer a creative and secure environment for our children to thrive in.
Through the arts, a series of exhibitions at the Cuervo Studio and Gallery in Phoenix, will connect diverse communities to share and learn from one another. This project seeks to stand as a model for utilizing the arts as a platform for addressing social discourse and civic dialogue.

In each exhibition, artists are asked to create work that embraces the spirit of hope and change, of giving back, in an effort to celebrate America's diversity. At each event, a few emerging artists will be introduced into "the mix" in order to showcase and mentor a fresh voice in the arts.
